After a whirlwind of activity over the last six days, tonight, all is peaceful. Scaffolds are empty, machinery is still and our new friends (Chilton Baptist Builders) are headed home in the morning. Time to rest.
Wow, under roof at fourth day’s end.
Over halfway there on the shingles.
Windows (many) are in.
Soffit materials (some) were applied.
God’s house was filled for the first service, held last evening.
On the forth day of the church building project, roofing is the focus. This dedicated group of volunteers are facing extreme temperatures in full sun today. Heat index of over a hundred degrees so work began at daybreak. God, bless these men today. Your prayer support is appreciated. To read more about these blessed builders ChiltonBaptistBuilders.com.
Dusk on day three and temperatures still in the high 80’s. Looking like excessive heat will extend for a sixth day in a row, whew! Shingles are planned to begin at dawn. Chilton builders persevere.
