Yesterday’s flurries were especially fascinating to watch. Rather than falling, the flakes seemed to float in all directions, suspended in the cold crisp air. Snowy flakes are among my favorite scenes to watch from the studio window when working. It was especially helpful in setting the cozy mood as I continue to tweak a “secret” Christmas art group. The afternoon shifted back to sketching and dreaming up ideas for the new fall fabric line. Later today I am looking forward to sharing the process and approach that I follow when developing art for fabric and embroidery with www.totallystitchin.net of Baby Lock. The flurry continues, more art and more snow is on its way, might need to wax up those sled blades!
Wonderful Works

If we get the snow I’ll join you on the sled run. I’ll cheer you on and have a thermos of hot cocoa ready for a “warm up”.
