Don’t you just love a rainy day, keeping tucked away, and cozy inside?Ā That’s what we have here following a noisy night. I woke up at 2:30am to the loudest clash of thunder I’ve ever heard and literally felt all the way to my bones! I’m somewhat eager to check out all the nearby trees this morning to be sure all are still standing.
A good day to begin working on a project, eh? Maybe a “Hair-raising Halloween” pillow?
Sorry I missed the rain. I love a good ‘ole thunder storm myself. Sounds like it’s getting closer to a campfire night!
Hmmnnn, three days of ninety degrees in the forecast this week. Boo-hoo.
I feel exactly the same way about a rainy day. We don’t get much rain here in my part of Idaho, so when we do I enjoy the day so much. It is like a mini vacation from the garden work, and I find all kinds of books and movies to enjoy.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and anytime I can answer a garden question for you, I am here!!!
hugs
My childhood was filled with wonderful memories of “rainy day” projects. A shoebox filled with craft supplies which were only brought out when the weather was less than perfect for playing outdoors!
Yes, yes!
