Crafting this past weekend was a welcome break from the normal deadline driven art schedule however, it will be put on the back burner once again. I wanted to share a couple of my projects as the final post featuring the Mary Engelbreit Home Companion Workshop. Both of these projects were taught by Charlotte Lyons and were created using cardboard and paper. The paper I chose to use is from two of my most recent fabric lines which, could also be substituted to create these fun projects. Still need to embellish, the fun part!
“An Appointed Time” fabric introduces at Spring Quilt Market May 21 – 23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota & delivers in June 2010.
“Hairraising Halloween” fabric just delivered to quilt shops.
Fabric from Quilting Treasures
Love the Halloween and musical baskets! Is the fabric part of the same collection?
Hi There – Thanks, I really like this line too. If you click on the link at the bottom of the post – Quilting Treasures, you will see what patterns are offered in the Halloween line. The music sheets were supplied by Charlotte. I used printed out paper for this application, except for the fabric hinges.
Love the clock face and cuckoo bird!
Thanks Annie – Cuckoo Cardinal was also my name tag for the weekend. He is one of my favorites from “Woodsy Wonders”
WOW!! this is so cute!
You are so adorable also. Since I am always seeing your smiling clock face icon I thought you looked like that in my mind. Great to see the REAL you!! You are so pretty!
Hi Sue – That’s funny, but I wondered if my clock face would conjure up an image of me. Thank you. I’ll bet you’re busy busy getting ready for the show. Hope it’s great!
