Dream On
Speaking of dreamy, feast your eyes on this. Unfortunately, this is not the scene outside my front door. Take a look at Joy Hall’s snow fest, with more on the way! “Snow and More Snow”

Not enough snow lately to suit us snow lovers. Expecting up to six inches here (mid west), by nightfall. It doesn’t appear that it could miss us. We’ll see!
Last evening I continued the search for likely candidates to use on the valentine project scheduled for today. Among the many items retrieved from my dad’s work area last summer, I discovered his stamps. An interesting, melancholy but beautiful look back~
Earlier in the day at a local shop, my daughter Kate and I found some wonderful Austrian post cards with incredible calligraphy. It was fun creating some of the coffee soaked tags incorporating both.
A “Special” thanks to my friend Diane Knott for offering some personal instructions! Don’t forget to register for her Valentine give away~ www.dianeknottsmusings.blogspot.com
I can’t forget to wish Jason, our son (in law) a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! While the guys take in the BIG game we’ll be cutting, pasting and enjoying carrot cake?
As a Rabbit once said, “Oh dear, oh dear, I shall be too late!” For a very important date, or a deadline? Juggling several projects simultaneously is wreaking havoc with my time management skills. Are meeting difficult deadlines supposed to come with the “artist territory?”
I suppose that all of us in the “Gram” category look at our children’s children as the sweetest in the world. I had to grin this morning when our Sydney girl discovered that today marked the six weeks that she had to wait to change earrings in her newly pierced ears. She shared that she was wearing a yellow shirt to match her bumble bee earrings. Sydney is nine and like her mother, well, they grow up much too fast.
Woke up to a snowy surprise this morning, and the sound of the snow plow soon followed at 5:03. No sledding today.
