OK, so let’s get to the best part about Christmas cookies, besides eating them, the recipes! I have collected some of the very best recipes from family, friends and some, seen below, were found in my grandma’s recipe card file. A treasure in themselves, with all of their baking ingredient spills and drips. The condiment caddy also belonged to my gram.
Others were collected from box tops such as the one below from the Quaker Oats lid, I think. The post card image is from the “Cookie Cutter Christmas” patch panel fabric. I invite you to print (using the link) with my permission for personal use, (gift tag or mailing) of course. I’m not sure how it will work so, please let me know if you are able to retrieve. I tried to save as a printable pdf.
More recipes to come. I am so far behind on Christmas prep this year, hopefully I’ll be baking some of these cookies next week.
So awesome!! Love the recipe? rack!! Where DID you find THAT?
Hope you get to make all those luscious recipes!
Hi – Yes, this wire rack just found it’s new home on my walk in pantry shelves (former mud room) brought up from downstairs where it had no place to go. I really like seeing my grandma’s recipes and having them so close at hand.
Oops forgot, I think I found it in a Martha Stewart catalog a few years ago.
That wall rack looks so antiquey! Is that a word? Is it still available, do you think? Of course, I wouldn’t know where to put it, since I really have no wall space in my kitchen.
Janet, you just answered my question! The wall rack…so cool!!!

Wow! We really did blog on the same concept, and almost used the same words about the drips and drops from ingredients. The wire rack and recipes is beautiful. I love it!
I’m artistic, or like to this so, but can’t seem to see that expression delivered into my style choices for home. I think I will be popping in here often in hopes you will inspire me into action. Happy cooking and writing and decorating!
